How to Qualify for Credit


To be accepted for credit you must meet the following criteria.

  • You are over 18 and employed at least 16 hours per week
  • You have a good credit history with no late payments, debt relief orders, CCJ’s
  • You are a permanent UK resident and able to supply a UK address history for the last 3 years

Meeting the criteria does not guarantee acceptance. If your application is accepted, a deposit of 10% must be paid.

You will need to provide 2 forms of identification either:

  • Valid Full UK Driving licence (sorry, provisional licences are not accepted)
  • A passport
  • Bank statement related to the account used for the finance application, which needs to show name and address, be dated within the last 3 months and be an original, not a photocopy or a printout from the internet.

How long does it take to apply?
Our application form typically takes a few minutes to complete. Your application is then instantly sent to the finance company and they will typically respond with their decision in 10 minutes. Some applications may take longer to process. If for any reason we can’t give you an instant decision you will be notified as part of the application process in person or by e-mail for on-line applications, with a follow up e-mail as soon as a decision is confirmed.

What are the requirements for finance?
You must be a permanent UK resident and able to supply 3 years address history. You must have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits.

Will the finance company perform a credit check?
Yes. A credit check forms part of the automated decision making process.

Do I need a bank account?
Yes. You must have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. If your credit application is accepted, you will be required to pay a deposit of 10%.

Do I need to pay an additional booking fee?
No. Your deposit acts as the booking fee. Please be aware that should you decide to cancel your tattoo appointment without 7 days notice the deposit will be forfeited if we cannot fill the appointment with another client.

How will the tattoo be priced?
Each tattoo will be priced per piece and therefore be a fixed cost. This will be agreed with the tattoo artist following the consultation.

We are also able to offer finance for a fixed number of sessions e.g. 4 sessions. This then gives you flexibility on the work that you want. If additional sessions are required you can book them in to meet your requirements.

Will I be able to be tattooed by any artist at No Regrets?
In principle yes, but the finance approval expires after 90 days and therefore your tattoo will need to be started before this. Some of our artists have long wait lists and you may be required to apply closer to time. This can be done via e-mail to save a return journey to the studio.

What is the minimum price for Finance?
The minimum is £400 of which you will need to provide a 10% deposit.

What if I want to significantly change the design of my tattoo before the 1st session or between multiple sessions?
If the tattoo changes in fixed price before the 1st session we will be able to adapt agreement subject to approval. If you decide to change between multiple sessions the repayments wont be able to altered. Additional work can of course be carried out through another Finance agreement or alternative payment methods.

What rates are available and how long can I spread the cost?

We offer 3 competitive options:

  • 0% over 6 months is available for larger scale pieces that will be completed in a short period of time
  • We offer 9.9% APR for tattoos completed within a 12 months period
  • Our 3rd option is 19.9% that enables lower monthly repayments over a 24 or 36 months

How do I repay the loan?
Your monthly repayments are collected by Direct Debit.

Can the date of the DD be changed?
Yes, once the customer has been notified of their payment date they can call the Customer Service Team on 0333 240 8317.

How much does the loan cost?
The total cost of the loan is shown on the finance agreement.

How long before I have to start to repay the loan?
The first payment is typically due 30 days following the date of your 1st tattoo.

Can I pay my agreement off early?
You have the right to repay your loan early in full or in part. If you wish to repay any amount early, you must give written notice to us at: Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited, Oak House, Reeds Crescent, Watford, WD24 4QP.

There are no early repayment fees.

What APR will I be charged?
The APR is shown clearly on the credit summary throughout the credit application process. It is also shown clearly on the credit agreement itself.

Can a 3rd party compete the finance on behalf of someone else e.g. Father for a sons tattoo?
The person taking out the finance/applying for the finance will be responsible for making the re-payments, so for example, if the Father is applying for finance and accepted, it is the Father who is responsible for making the re-payments.

Are there any other charges?
If you fail to pay any amount you owe under the Credit Agreement by the date it is due, Omni Capital Finance Limited may charge you interest on that amount, they may also levy additional fees – details of these can be found in the credit agreement.

Can I cancel my credit agreement if I change my mind?
If this agreement was made exclusively using a means of distance communication (i.e. by post, telephone, email or online), you will have a right to cancel the agreement for a short time after the agreement is made. You can do this by telephoning us on 0333 240 8317 or writing to us at Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited, Oak House, Reeds Crescent, Watford, WD24 4QP. The cancellation period starts on the date of this agreement and ends on the expiry of 14 days beginning with the later of, the day after this agreement was made or, the day after the day on which you receive this agreement and all the terms.

If you cancel this agreement during the cancellation period, we will refund any sum paid by you as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of the date in which we receive notice that you wish to cancel this agreement. You will be required to return any goods delivered to you under this agreement to the Retailer within the same period. We may charge you for any service you have received under this agreement prior to you exercising your right to cancel. This will be an amount which is proportionate to the service actually provided.

If you do not exercise your right to cancel during the cancellation period, this agreement will continue in accordance with the terms.
